Outdoor Learning for Ferryhill Students

Ernest Cook Trust supports outdoor learning for Ferryhill Students

Mrs Langdale worked with the Ernest Cook Trust to secure funding for transport to support learning outside the classroom.

This week 7B3 and 7A2 have been on a Geography visit to Hardwick Park with Miss Corner and Mrs Harris.

Each group looked at improving their map reading skills, learning about ecosystems, learning about wildlife and habit and spending time enjoying the fresh air and nice weather.

Thanks to the Ernest Cook Trust this amazing day was able to take place and students were able to experience outdoor education and its benefits.
